These release notes summarize software changes made during the Kigo update release on May 7, 2015.
Kigo Websites Embed Updated
The Kigo Websites search widget allows companies that use Kigo Plan 1 to add property search and booking functionality to an existing web site. This feature has been updated to allow the creation of links for custom searches. In addition, searches display in a new window.
Navigation Menu Redesigned
The navigation menu displayed on the left side of Kigo has been redesigned to improve usability. Updates include:
- Arrow indicators to signify expanded or collapsed submenus.
- Improved color design to separate menu from page content and to improve menu hierarchy.
SEO Editor - Regenerate Keyword for Fees Page Updated
The Regenerate Keyword button on the SEO Editor for the Fees page has been updated. Previously, regenerating keywords caused an error to be displayed.
Send All Email Processing Improved
When clicking Send All button after a booking is created, confirmed, or cancelled the associated document template is checked. If the template is not valid, an informational message displays stating that there is an issue with the document template used to generate the e-mail message.
Calendar Page Legend Updated
When sorting the Calendar page by Type, each type is assigned a unique color. Previously, some customers experienced an issue with color assignments for specific combinations of booking types.
Global Search Results Updated
Search results displayed by the global search function in Kigo have been improved. Search results are now displayed under the search field, organized by type. Properties displayed in the search results now have additional links available. To see the available options, click the property name in the search results. A submenu expands to display the following links:
- Public Listing
- Quick View
- Edit Property
- Edit Rates
- See Bookings
