Required Setup: In order to access this page, your company must subscribe to Kigo Revenue Management in the App Store. Additionally, you must be assigned the General Manager role, or a custom role that includes General Manager permissions.

About the Properties Page

This page displays a list of all of the properties in Kigo Revenue Management. You can filter this list by status, property group, or rate map. A variety of tasks are available from this page, including:

  • Changing the Status of a Property to Enabled
  • Changing the Status of a Property to Disabled
  • Moving a Property to Another Property Group
  • Viewing the Property Rates Page
  • Adding a New Property

Fields

Filters

  • (Status Filter): If you only want to display properties with a specific status, select the status from this drop-down list and click Filter. You can select from the following statuses:
    • Enabled: Select this option to only display properties that are enabled.
    • Disabled: Select this option to only display properties that are disabled.
    • Recently added: Select this option to only display properties that were recently added.
    • No status filter: Select this option if you want to display all properties regardless of status.
  • (Group Filter): If you only want to display properties that are assigned to a specific property group, select the property group name from this drop-down list and click Filter. This filter can be used together with the map filter, but the properties will need to meet both criteria in order to display.
  • (Map Filter): If you only want to display properties that use a specific rate map, select the rate map name from this drop-down list, and click Filter. This filter can be used together with the group filter, but the properties will need to meet both criteria in order to display.
  • (Group Action): From here, you can perform a number of actions. These actions will be applied to any property that you have indicated by selecting the associated check box for each. You can perform the following:
    • Enable: If you want to enable a property that is currently disabled, select the associated check box for the property, select Enable from the group action drop-down list, and then click Apply.
    • Disable: If you want to disable a property that is currently enabled, select the associated check box for the property, select Disable from the group action drop-down list, and then click Apply. When a property is disabled in Kigo Revenue Management, the property will still be available for booking in Kigo, but the rate will not change based on information in Kigo Revenue Management.
    • Group: (group name): If you want to assign a property to another property group, select the associated check box for the property, select the Group:(group name) from the group action drop-down list, and then click Apply. The property will be moved to the selected property group.

Property List

  • (check box): Select this check box to perform group actions. You can select multiple properties at once, and perform multiple group actions at once.
  • ID: This is the unique identifier for the property, used by Kigo Revenue Management.
  • Name: This is the name of the property in Kigo Revenue Management.
  • External ID: This is the external identifier for the property, used by Kigo.
  • Property Group: This is the property group assigned to the property.
  • Map: This is the rate map assigned to the property group that this property is associated with.
  • Enabled: If this displays "Yes," then the property is enabled. If this displays "No," then the property is not enabled, and Kigo Revenue Management will not modify rates for the property.
  • Last Sync: This is the date and time that that rate information was last synchronized with Kigo and third-party booking channels.
  • Sync Status: This is the status of the rate information's synchronization with Kigo and third-party booking channels. If the status is Sync OK, then the last synchronization was successful. If the status is Sync Error, the last synchronization was not successful.

Changing the Status of a Property to Enabled

Enabling a property means that the rates for the property will be updated automatically by Kigo Revenue Management. These rate changes will be made based on the assigned property group and rate map. These rate changes will communicated to Kigo, Kigo websites, and third-party booking channels.

  1. From the Properties page, locate the property (or properties) that you want to change the status of.
  2. Click to select the associated check box for each property.
  3. From the Group Action drop-down list, select Enabled.
  4. Click Apply. The status is updated.

Changing the Status of a Property to Disabled

Disabling a property means that the rates for the property will no longer be updated automatically by Kigo Revenue Management. The property is removed from the available property pool, and is removed from any property group and rate map calculations.

  1. From the Properties page, locate the property (or properties) that you want to change the status of.
  2. Click to select the associated check box for each property.
  3. From the Group Action drop-down list, select Disabled.
  4. Click Apply. The status is updated.

Moving a Property to Another Property Group

When you move a property to another property group, the property will also begin using the rate map assigned to the new property group.

  1. From the Properties page, locate the property (or properties) that you move to a new property group.
  2. Click to select the associated check box for each property that you want to move to the new property group.
  3. From the Group Action drop-down list, select Group:(groupname), where (groupname) is the name of the group that you want to move the selected property (or properties) to.
  4. Click Apply. The status is updated.

Viewing the Property Rates Page

  1. To view the Property Rates page, and see specific information about the rates at the property level, click the name of the property in the Name column of the Properties list.
  2. The Property Rates page displays.

Adding a New Property

When you create a new property in Kigo, the new property is automatically added to Kigo Revenue Management. Before using the new property, you will need to assign the property to a property group.

  1. From the Properties page, locate the new property that you want to configure. The External ID displayed in Kigo Revenue Management will be the same as the ID or Public Headline in Kigo.
  2. Click the link in the name column for the located property.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Click Update Availability. This will import the Property Title from Kigo and import the current availability for the property from Kigo.
  5. Select the property group that you want to assign the property to from the Group drop-down list. This will also apply the rate map that is assigned to the property group.
  6. Click Save to continue, or click Cancel to discard your changes.
